They not only faced the difficulty of building the guitars, they also had to design and construct some of the machinery that went into making these instruments.
As the team grew and they began the actual manufacturing process, they often altered the design of the guitar in one way or another in a constant attempt to improve its sound and playability. Each guitar that came out of the plant had its own unique element and rarely were two exactly alike.
A major paint company made special paints for Micro-Frets. These paints had a particular look and luster. These paints created some of the famous “Venus Sunburst”. “Martial Sunrise” and “Tobacco Sunburst” colors that make the Micro-Frets guitars stand out.
